The Client, a Los Angeles based real estate investment and property management firm came to OPTIMAL looking for an Advisor to help them with their operational effectiveness, specifically helping to improve people & role alignment while enhancing the use of outsourcing to improve profitability.
OPTIMAL first completed a review of their organization (process & people) through a series of conversations with both owners, the controller, and their key stakeholders. Next, a review of their accounting softwares took place, outlining key functions and which team member completed each task. Each task was then determined to be outsourceable or not based on their in-place process and their internal resources.
With an action plan outlined, OPTIMAL began working hand-in-hand with their team to transition the scope of work they deemed to be outsourceable to OPTIMAL while helping to align their internal resources with more value-add tasks set out in their newly designed roles. Analysis of their Current State took 2 months while the transition to their Future State took 6 months.
With OPTIMAL Advisory, the Client was able to satisfy their bottom-line requirements while improving the lives and career trajectories of their internal team members. With their new structure, the Client is eager to begin executing on its growth plan.
